to explain and assign the first exercise



This challenging course is based on the "Ten Objective Exercises" described by Uta Hagen in her wonderful books "Respect for Acting" and "A Challenge for the Actor". It is recommended you start reading "A Challenge for the Actor" prior to starting the class. This wonderful class is only is offered once per year, or as interest demands. The exercises deal with developing the actor's physical destination in a role, recreating physical sensations, finding occupation while waiting, and other exercises to help the actor recreate truthful behavior on stage or before the camera. To be accepted for this class Charlie must be acquainted with your work or other training as an actor. Preregistration required, and the class will be held if a minimum of eight students enroll. A maximum of ten students will be accepted. Tuition for this 10 week course is $400.
