AUDITIONING WITH THE TELEPROMPTER
Here’s what instructor Ric Ramey has to say: “Teleprompters are become more and more common in the audition process. It saves paper and the process is faster, so you can get back to your real job. I have had the pleasure to work with Joan Wainwright, who started this class 17 years ago in Portland, Oregon. I helped her teach this class for 2 years to her students. She always said to me. "Be prepared, this process is going to take hold for everyone!" She was correct. In the last year and half, every audition I have been to in San Francisco has be with a teleprompter. So, be prepared, come see the correct way to audition with a teleprompter and you will not only be confident when you walk in, you will also look like it! ”
